Our rates are for the run of the house and all special requests will be noted when reservations are made. You can request one King or Two Queen Beds.  

 

Our group rates apply from Wednesday the 25th through Sunday the 29th. 


Parking: On site parking is $25/night for self parking and $30/night valet, both with in and out privileges. 

Complimentary wireless internet service is in all guest rooms and meeting spaces.

Travel Information 


Travel to Charlotte by Air

If you are flying into Charlotte, the hotel does not have an airport shuttle. Estimated taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is $25 one way. You can also take Uber or Lyft from the airport.


If you choose to drive from the airport:

Travel east on Airport Loop Road toward Airport Parking Drive.•Bear right, then turn right on Old Dowd Road.•Turn left onto Harlee Avenue.•Turn right at US Highway 74 East/Wilkinson Boulevard, following for 3.7 miles.•Continue onto Interstate 277 North for one-half mile.•Take Exit 1E to merge onto South College Street toward the Spectrum Arena.•The hotel will be on your right. 


Travel to Charlotte by Train

If you are taking Amtrak to Charlotte, the station is very close to uptown Charlotte. You can also taxi, Uber or Lyft from the station. Amtrak is a very good way to travel:

  • From Atlanta:           5h 17min,  $62 each way, arrives pretty late at night though
  • From Greenville, SC: 2h 23min,  $26 each way, also arrives pretty late
  • From Raleigh:           3h 10 min, $29.50 each way
  • From Greensboro:     1h 58min,  $16 each way


Travel to Charlotte by Car


If you choose to burn up the road, at least carpool! But here are the directions if you don't have a GPS or a smartphone with a map app :)


From Greensboro, Raleigh, Greenville SC, or Atlanta GA:

Take I-85 either north or south towards Charlotte (determine that part on your own)

Take Exit 38 to I-77 South

Take Exit 9B to I-277N

Take Exit 1E to South College Street

The hotel will be on your right at 601 South College Street


From Columbia, SC:

Take I-77 north toward Charlotte

Take Exit 9B to I-277N

Take Exit 1E to South College Street

The hotel will be on your right at 601 South College Street


From Charleston, SC:

Take I-26 west to Columbia

Take Exit 116 to I-77 north toward Charlotte

Take Exit 9B to I-277N

Take Exit 1E to South College Street

The hotel will be on your right at 601 South College Street

  • Grassroots Government Advocacy
  • Young Engineers in ASHRAE
  • Region-At-Large Sub-Region Chairs
  • Regional Historian
  • Regional Treasurer
  • Chapter Technology Transfer Chair (no substitutes)
  • Chapter Grassroots Government Advocacy Chair (no substitutes)
  • Young Engineers in ASHRAE Chair (no substitutes


NOTE THE FOLLOWING FOR CENTRALIZED TRAINING:

  • Chapter Membership Promotion Chairs and Co-Chairs are reimbursed for Membership Promotion Centralized Training (no substitutes)
  • Chapter Research Promotion Chairs are reimbursed for Research Promotion Centralized Training (no substitutes)
  • Chapter Student Activities Chairs are reimbursed for Student Activities Centralized Training or CRC Workshop but not both (no substitutes)
