Learning Objectives:    

Presentation will cover some of the methods which ensure a successful VRF project outcome, on time, under budget, high performing and with an extended life span.

A short section on the technology and how it differs from traditional DX systems will be included, with a major focus on methods to ensure VRF projects are executed efficiently, and designed to leave the owner with the value intended.

Speaker Bio:     

Joan has been in HVAC for over 35 years, graduating from Davidson College with a BS in Economics and Energy, a combined degree with a Physics and Economics focus, and a concentration on energy conservation. She has done performance contracting in St. Louis, mechanical equipment and controls design in Philadelphia and account and project management here in Charlotte. Joan joined the JCI York VRF division in 2015 shortly after the Hitachi VRF/Ductless purchase. She has been married for 37 years, and have three children, ages 28, 27 and 21 – all joyfully out of college and fully employed! Joan is proud to have served two terms as Mecklenburg County PTA Council president, and have personally worked in all 144 CMS schools with parents and teachers.
